On the trail he confidently navigates water, bridges, rocks and logs and is unfazed by dogs, bikes or any other surprises. He willingly goes out alone or in a group making him a reliable companion. Has been ridden on cows a few times as well. In the arena Bubba responds beautifully to leg cues, and transitions smoothly through walk, trot, and lope, always taking the correct lead. He has even been ridden by a 5-year-old both alone and double, demonstrating his gentle nature. Additionally, Bubba is traffic safe and has been hitched to a cart a hand full of times.
