16" WM Brown - Custom Wade saddle

This saddle features a 16" hard seat, 4" cantle, rawhide wrapped wood tree, large hard wood post horn, bucking rolls, C-plate drop rigging, back cinch, 6 long leather ties, pre-twisted stirrups, breast collar dee rings, fleece is good, and weight is around 42lbs.

For nearly 35- years Brown has been creating the finest handmade leather for consumers as well as for Hollywood, present and past, authentically replicated legendary holsters from western movies just like the ones worn by John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and many more.

All items are handmade and hand-carved by the Maker. We are still using the same tools and the same late 1800’s sewing machines.

Ok guy and gals. This is neat. This is a true hand stitched saddle, and his biography was too good not to share with ya. This is a custom saddle to grab while you can. And, at a price that’s hard to beat. When you’re out working on this saddle you’ll be noticed. Very Very few saddles were made by this talented artist. His business focused more on the leather holsters, belts, and more. But all his saddles were custom orders and boy he delivered a hell of a saddle.

NOTE - the stirrup leathers were not made for long legs. I am 6’ and have one hole left in the stirrup leathers to go longer. They were not cut, just not made long. We could add new ones for more $$, but honestly it would feel wrong with the original condition of this fantastic saddle.
