Donk Quixote is genuinely one of a kind. He has no fancy tricks, but he does perfectly with what he knows, and this guy is ready to be your next show-stopping trail buddy. Donk Quixote is honest, reliable, and safe for anyone. Leave him off as long as you want, and he will be exactly the same when you get back on, with no buck, rear, or bad habits. He sticks at exactly 14.1 hands – big enough to pack an adult all day (the rider in the video is 5’5″) but short enough to make mounting/dismounting easy. We have tested him all over, from gathering cattle in the Rocky Mountains to strolling down the trails in town, and he has been reliable and amazing every step of the way. As the video shows, he rides out alone with one hand neck rein, rides off leg and seat nicely, and stands for mounting and dismounting. Donk Quixote has seen tarps, flags, bikes, strollers, and rides with dogs regularly. He has no spook at wildlife or ATVs in the mountains as well. He loads and unloads as one should from a stock trailer or off a ramp, he hauls next to mares or geldings in an open stock trailer nicely, and he does great in a pasture or a pen setting and will meet you anywhere in the pasture for scratches and loves. Donk Quixote is an easy keeper and requires no maintenance to stay healthy or sound. His unique coloring catches eyes everywhere we go with tiger stripes and spots on his legs, and with all the appaloosa spots across his back and hind end, he will make an impression wherever you take him.
