Description:
Howie is what we call your one stop shop horse! He can literally do it all! He is very broke, with a one hand neck rein, he moves off leg pressure, he lopes off from a stand still, he side passes, pivots and has a fantastic lead change. He is soft in his face and stays broke! He been rode outside, down the trails, in the pastures and has been used to doctor cattle. We have roped the hot heels on him and has enough speed, rate and stop. He is wonderful in the arena as well. He is simple to ride and has been ridden by novice riders and kids. He has a wonderful disposition and loves attention. He been hauled in a livestock trailer and has also been hauled in slants/ ramps etc.. There’s not really a lot that bothers Howie. He cross ties or will stand tied in the wash rack, tied to a tree, trailer, or pretty much anywhere. He is as smooth and level headed as any horse you will throw a leg over. He’s beautiful strided and is definitely a horse to go on and show at any level in the ranch events if you choose. He stands 15 hands, good bone, excellent feet and a tail that I have to trim every few weeks. He’s a good horse and can literally do anything. We have jumped him as well. He has been ridden English, but it’s not our thing although it is his! We think he would be fun dressage as well! Sound and legit. No scars or blemish’s.
