SO MANY TIMES you will come across a quote on quote “great kid pony” that will secretly carry a hidden “Tiny Hitler” agenda. I imagine most ponies with a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other- and more times than not they just choose bad decisions. Making them hard to catch, barn sour, buddy sour, or just plain rotten to deal with. Tried and true, great minded and great handling ponies are like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Meet “Love”: The perfect picture of what a solid pony should be.

I have never met a pony like her that literally just means well. Simple, Understated, & Consistent!

She is incredibly easy to operate, and doesn’t have an ounce of spoilt pony behavior to her.

This chromed out pony is as broke as a joke! She handles very similar to a reiner, but doesn’t have too many buttons to be confusing or over trained. Love has a lope departure, knows her leads, is push style, VERY COMFORTABLE, and will never try to overcomplicate the ride. She rides off of your leg or hand- and has a solid neck rein. She can spin each way, and is finished in the bridle. This is one you can pitch the reins to and just enjoy. If you want to swing a leg over and just sit and chat with your friends, or ride out all day- she brings the same gentle, willing demeanor to each day.

This pony was started and used diligently outside and on the ranch by knowledgable hands.

She is no stranger to rough country, and has been used all over the great state of Texas from San Antonio to the Panhandle. Love was handled just like any other working ranch horse. She’s drug calves to the fire, ground ties, works a rope, gate, and rides just as honest as they come. She has been roped on outside, as well as on the heel side. She can go all day everyday, or putt around with the little ones. She’s been ridden by a 10 year old who understands the basics of a horse and she did PERFECT with him.
