June 2013 thru mid-Sept, approx. This is an opportunity to combine work/play in Glacier National Park!! I have a small Ranch (one hundred sixty acres) on the east side of Glacier Park. Full time caretakers occupy the property. I am looking for seasonal help that would assist the current caretakers in the Vacation Rental cleaning and upkeep of the property June through September. The seasonal position would consist primarily in getting the Rentals and landscape ready for the season, and then daily cleaning of the rentals, and landscaping/gardening/property maintenance. There are currently three Vacation Rentals, and a fourth to be added mid-July. The Vacation Rentals are operated seasonally and assistance is needed with season startup, daily housekeeping and cleaning as well as yard development/upkeep and a garden development. There are presently five alpaca and one guard llama on the property. Within reason, your horse (s)would be welcome, pasture and water provided. Housing is provided in a twenty-seven ft. Travel Trailer. I would provide a weekly wage, laundry facilities, wi-fi, and seasonal pass to Glacier National Park. Work schedule would be forty hours a week, and would be flexible dependant on rental occupancy. Scheduled time off would depend on how busy we are, and your time off may not fall on consecutive days. This would still allow you time to explore Glacier and the area. The area is very rural; wildlife abounds and the setting is exceptional: lots of peace and quiet, exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. The Ranch is twelve miles from Glacier Park, three miles from the Canadian Border, beautiful golf courses in the area including Waterton Natl Park. There are good restaurants in the summer season and world class, blue ribbon fishing in lakes and streams. Qualifications include being reliable and trustworthy, a good work ethic, knowledge of the Ranching lifestyle, experience in cleaning/housekeeping, knowledge and experience in landscaping/gardening/groundskeeping. A plus would be experience in the hospitality industry, and livestock skills.This is a chance to spend your summer on a Ranch AND have plenty of time for Glacier National Park and surrounding area.
