Description:
Peterson Livestock, LLC is a large cow-calf operation in southeast Wyoming. Peterson Livestock, LLC takes pride in the quality of cattle, equipment, and facilities. We are looking for a ranch hand to join our team that is self-motivated, honest, and hardworking. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must have valid driver’s license. Work at times may be alone or with our team.



Duties include but not limited to:



*Irrigating with 4 wheelers, cleaning ditches, setting dams, removing beaver dams



*Haying using heavy equipment



*Branding, gathering, sorting, and shipping of cattle using horses



*Fence maintenance, repair, and construction



*Basic welding and mechanic abilities (changing oil, fixing tractor tires, and equipment maintenance



*Maintenance of ranch buildings and equipment (we like it tidy and clean around ranch, ranch house must be kept clean)



*Feeding of cattle in the winter months using tractors



*This is NOT just a riding position; it is an ALL-AROUND RANCH JOB!



*Personal horses and dogs are welcome if agreed upon before hiring



Nearest towns 30 minutes away, no dirt road driving, conveniently located off paved highway



*Small fully furnished two-bedroom one bathroom house provided. Workers’ Compensation provided along with beef meat and all house utilities and satellite TV. Employer match IRA after one year work. Salary DOE.
