Description:
Duties will include but not limited to riding pens and pulling/doctoring cattle, processing incoming cattle, weighing and shipping/receiving. Must have the ability to rope and doctor cattle both inside pens and outside on pasture. You do not need to be super handy but must be capable to do the job in a safe and efficient manner. This position will predominantly involve cattle handling but there will need to be some level of involvement in all aspects of the yard meaning there will be time spent running equipment and performing maintenance/repairs/basic improvements. Not all parts of the job are glamorous but necessary.



Will work mostly as part of a team. If Housing is needed, will work with the right candidate to find/provide. Company horses are also available in the right situation, all are broke, older bridle horses.



Salary or hourly depending on which is a better fit. Compensation package negotiable depending on experience and abilities.



Feedlot is located roughly 15 minutes south of Twin Falls, ID and has a capacity of 4,000 head. Focused on backgrounding calves to go out to grass and growing cattle before being shipped to finishing yard. Newer yard with nice facilities and equipment.
