Beautiful 17,000 sq. foot Native American inspired spa offering a variety of amenities for guests to enjoy. The Rocking Heart Spa provides a variety of spa treatments including facials, body massages, mani/pedis, and skin & nail treatments. Guests can also relax in the hot tub and sauna or go for a swim in the spa’s half sized Olympic lap pool. Fun people to work with, access to the resort activities and amenities. Cross training opportunities available. Employee discounts on golf, food, drinks, retail items, and ranch experiences. MUST have graduated from an accredited Massage school. Oregon licensed therapists or therapists with licensing that can be transferred to Oregon needed for full-time, part-time, and rotational schedules. New graduates are welcome to apply! Housing available! We have Full-time, Part-time, Rotational, seasonal opportunities available. Pay starts from: $68.00 (base pay plus commission) Responsibilities will include providing exceptional client service and licensed massage treatments in accordance with the Rocking Heart Spa guidelines and the scope of practice allowed under your Massage Therapist License, in addition to your completed continuing education classes, arriving on time for all duties and therapies as scheduled. Your daily routine will also include record keeping, invoicing, and keeping the Spa facility and equipment clean and organized. A massage therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. Provide 30 to 90-minute massages to clients by appointment Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs Proficiency in retail sales to promote and sell spa products Understanding of retail math principles for accurate pricing and transactions Certified/Licensed in Oregon Benefits: Fun people to work with, access to the resort activities and amenities.
