Description:
Hancocks Bay Boy or Jake is an exceptional horse. Jake received comprehensive training, including but not limited to roping, flagging, and tarp carrying. He was started from a box, following hot heels, roping live cattle, and introduced to poles and barrels. Jake breaks out of a box, tracks cattle, and has done some reining cow horse work. For the past two years, he has done all aspects of ranch work such as roping, doctoring in the field, cow camping in the mountains, branding, sorting, and riding feed lot pens during the winter. He has an amazing temperament, this horse seeks constant affection and is a true gentleman, from the ground and under saddle. He is easy to catch, shoe, and load. He has an in-your-pocket type personality, including wanting to share your food. Standing at 16 hands and weighing 1100 pounds, this horse has a striking appearance with big black feet, sturdy bone structure, and a bay coat with all dark points and an impressively long and thick mane and tail.
