Hey there, my names Ivan and this season of wrangling in Wyoming is halfway over. Once it’s over in mid September I’ll be available to work on whatever you’d need me to do. I’m a willing, capable and quick learning hand who would be grateful for a position during this fall/winter and onward!



I’m looking to learn much more about cattle but I’m not really searching for a cowboy job, wouldn’t be opposed to one but I’m more just interested in learning cattle.



What I know how to do:

Operate skidsteers, loaders, tractors, quads.

Maintenance on cars, trucks, skidsteers, tractors, loaders and quads.

Property maintenance.

Rough carpentry.

Equine care, riding and handling.

Power tools.

Landscaping.



What I’m looking to learn:

Fencing.

Cattle/Calves.

Calving.

Doctoring.

Roping.

Welding.



I’m a newcomer into agriculture, only having been in it for the last year. But I have every intent to work and learn. My future is looking like farrier work but before I commit to that I want to know more about cattle/calves. I used to do rough carpentry but realized despite how well it paid, it didn’t make me happy and I’ve been pivoting my life over into agriculture since then.



For the right opportunity I will drive across the states, but I’d prefer to stay out west since I like the cold. And by this winter I might have a camper to live in, so housing might not be needed.



I’m working 3 miles from Yellowstone currently so my cell reception is non existent, email or text would work much better and when I get back to town on weekends I can call if you’d like to set up an interview.
