If you want to have the prettiest horse everywhere you go then this is the one for you. I raised Midas out of a cool Dual Pep mare that I cut on and by a money earning son of Sun Frost. He is 15.1 with a big strong build. He has spent his life being used for any job I need. I have headed and heeled on him, branded hundreds of calves, packed elk, he’s been rode english and done some jumping. I have picked up bucking horses on him, used him to teach college classes for very green riders. He has been to the elementary school multiple times and ridden in parades more times than I can count. In 2020 I won almost $5,000 in skijoring competitions on him. He is very broke and has a light neck rein. I ride him bareback in a halter all the time. Midas has so much speed and ability in the performance pen but can totally go be a babysitter as well. He is always the horse that I put people on that don’t know how to ride. He has been ridden in the mountains since he was a 2 yr old so he will cross water without jumping it and step over anything with confidence. I love riding him down the trail. I have hundreds of pictures of him throughout his life and can tell you about any hair out of place on him. He would be a really fun one to compete in trail and ranch riding classes with how quiet and confident he is navigating obstacles.
