Description:
Great eye appeal in this engraved silver double mounted pair of gently used spurs made by long time maker John Murphy of Security, Colorado. Maker marked with John’s yucca plant hallmark plus the number 53 plus the name MURPHY on the bottom of the heel bands. 3¼” heel openings on the 1” bands—2” shanks with chap guard and 1 ½” scalloped rowels. Roosevelt dimes are covering all four buttons. Rarely does his work come up for sale. Great pair to use or collect. $495 includes shipping to the lower 48. Please, phone calls only.
