Taxi was used extensively as a turn back horse at the NCHA cutting horse shows and home use. Some of the duties that come with being a turn back horse include, being dependable all day, standing tied for long hours, must be cowy (a term described as a horse with good cow sense), must be broke, must be flashy and overall must have a quiet demeanor. With all the lights, camera and action happening at the NCHA shows, a horse must take it all in while still being able to do their job and Taxi accomplished that every time. Taxi was also trained by Boyd Rice ($3.8 million LTE in the Western Industry) as a 3/4 year old and shown in the cutting and the cow horse disciplines.
