OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME



The time has come for us to offer one of our Sr stallions to the public. This is not a decision we’ve come to lightly & when we purchased Hickory we had no intentions of ever parting with him.



However, with two young stallions in training & plans to put them in the show pen this is the right thing to do at this time.



We have a current semen analysis. He has completed the 2024 breeding season with us & is ready for his new home any time.



HIGH BROW STRIPES



Hickory is a grulla SON of the legendary High Brow Hickory x a daughter of Boon Bar on the bottom side. High Brow Hickory is a $5 million dollar sire & his maternal sire is a $3 million dollar sire, both in the NCHA. If you’re looking to add some ‘cow sense’ to your herd, look no further! He is a paternal sibling to the famous High Brow Cat.



Hickory is 6 panel NN & has been color tested DD for Dun. This means he will pass the Dun gene onto 100% of his foals. He is Ee for black, aa for agouti & stands 14.1 hands. Hickory is also registered with the FQHR & is 92.2% foundation.



He does have some quirks & we feel he’d be better suited for a facility that doesn’t house other stallions in close proximity to each other or a ranch that would turn him out for pasture breeding.



Hickory is broke to ride but it’s been several years since he’s been ridden. We have not ridden him & bought him to use a breeding stallion. That is how we are selling him.



We will be retaining all frozen semen that’s been collected on him.
