Description:
Patroan is a gelding we are very proud to offer. This beautiful gelding has been trail ridden a lot, and he has been exposed to all kinds of trail obstacles. He loves attention, he meets you at the gate, and he will do anything you ask him to do. This nice gelding has very smooth gaits. He is used to rocky terrain and crossing bridges and logs. He is also great in the arena, he picks up both leads with ease and lopes slow and correct circles on a loose rein. Patroan is very low headed and would make a great ranch pleasure or ranch riding horse. He has a slow jog and lope that is so smooth you can ride long periods of time very comfortably. He’s got a nice easy stop that he really hunts for and solid gait transitions. He has good handle, he sidepasses, counterbends, neckreins, and he backs up softly. He is very soft in the face and rides great in just a snaffle, but he will also ride in any kind of bridle you would like. He has been exposed to loud noises, ropes, traffic, dogs, water, and bridges and he takes it all in stride. I really can’t say enough good things about him. Patroan is also trained to lay down. He is one of the sweetest horses we have ever owned. He is the kind you don’t find every day. He can go in any direction you want him. He is sound. He has a current coggins and he is up to date on all of his farrier, dental, worming, and vaccinations.
