Description:
15.1hh. He is a nice, gentle, broke ranch and trail horse that everyone can ride. He knows all the ranch duties from all aspects of roping on the ranch and arena and will pull hard from the saddle horn. Good in the branding pen and always is easy to ride. Great to sort cattle on and has a lot of natural rate and cow savvy. Easy to open gates on. He will lope nice pretty slow circles on a loose rein and is very comfortable to sit at a walk trot and lope. He has a ground covering walk and will go as hard as you need him to go. He has been in the mountains and in the backcountry and is very surefooted. He will highline and hobble and is a great horse to have around camp. He has packed out game and led the pack string. Loves water and crosses all the different bridges and obstacles with ease. This horse is one that will stay broke even with time off. Has never offered to buck. Has been used as a trail horse packing greener riders from time to time. This is a handy broke, sound gelding that is ready to enjoy. He will let you on from the fence or your mounting block simply by smooching to him and he will step right over to you. Good to ride bareback in a halter. He is not spooky or reactive on the trails and has been ridden around traffic and dogs.
