If you are looking for a safe, reliable partner to hit the trails or ride on the ranch with, then check out Goldilocks. She is a trail horse deluxe, and has never met a hill too steep, water too deep, or a ride too long for her liking. Goldilocks is a 12 year old GRADE palomino mare, 14.2 hh and stout, weighing close to 1100 pounds. She is low to the ground and easy to get on, but stout enough to carry a man all day long. She has been taught to travel out and really cover some ground, so you don’t have to peddle her along but you also don’t have to pull on her and hold her back the entire time either. Goldilocks is gentle and doesn’t have to be ridden every day to stay that way, and you don’t have to worry about her doing anything silly like bucking, rearing, kicking, or taking off. She is sweet and personable, with a good mind and a willing attitude. Goldilocks has a good one handed neck rein and stops easily, and has a smooth trot you could sit to all day long. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. She has been hauled all over Texas to different ranches and state parks, on single and multi day trail rides, and is perfectly happy riding out alone, with a small group, or with a very large group of horses. She doesn’t mind carrying a flag and would make an excellent trail horse. Goldilocks gets along great with other horses and can be pastured with mares or geldings without an issue. She has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $6,500.
