When I heard about this new grulla coming in for evaluation, I was excited about him based off his story of being consistently gentle for his previous owners. Ranch horse, guest horse, trail horse and gentle... He checked all the boxes for us to be excited about the opportunity to represent him. After his evaluation, I became elated! He passed everything with flying colors! The little girl you see riding him in the video is nervous to get on horses she’s never ridden. With a little encouragement she got on and then this video turned into an absolute playday! Seeing him not only babysit her in the saddle on a trail and in the arena... they began to connect and literally play and she fell in love and truly increased her confidence in this new horse. Talk about a gem of a gelding, worth his weight in gold!

Jason is a beautifully marked grulla with brains!! You are truly buying the brains here folks! Some might say he has a face only a mother could love but we’ve fallen in love with him over and over again. It’s hard to find one this solid anywhere you want to take him. He’s unflappable and makes us proud to show him off! We would love to take you out on the trail as a trial so you can see just how safe and comfortable this sweet guy is!

He trailers quiet, he’s great to shoe, loves his baths and will fall in love with anyone who gives him attention! He’s also great crossing water... he took him to the river and trying to find the footage of that fun day with him.
