Description:
Montana ranch is seeking a dedicated individual that loves all aspects of ranch life. The ideal candidate would enjoy time spent in the shop, helping to keep all of the vehicles and equipment cleaned and serviced. We prefer to do as much as we can, in-house. This position ultimately requires work in all aspects of the ranch operation. Cattle work is primarily done on ATVs with some exceptions if a person prefers horse work. Ability to build and maintain both barbwire and electric fence is important. Previous experience in noxious weed control, primarily using ATV sprayers is strongly desired. The ranch is located in South Central Montana, just North-East of Big Timber. There is no haying currently. Ranch operations are managed by a ranch manager and the owner. Compensation package includes housing with utilities provided, freezer beef when available, eggs, feed for up to 2 horses, monthly salary DOE and possible hourly wage for qualified partner.
