17" Sawtooth Saddlery - Ranch/Roping saddle

This saddle features a 17" hard seat, 6 1/2" gullet, rawhide wrapped modified association tree, big 14" swells, 4" cantle, round skirt, 7/8 drop rigging, 6 long leather ties, post horn with new mule hide wrap, per-twisted oversized rawhide wrapped stirrups, fleece is good, and weight is around 40lbs.

These Sawtooth saddles are some of the best custom-made saddles I’ve ever come across. If you look up the maker of them it was an old boy down in Vernal, Utah and his wife that built them. Last time I spoke to that sweet old gal she said they were having health issues and were closing down the saddle shop. It’s sad to see these talented saddle makers retire. If you’re looking for a true work of art that will ride better than any other saddle you got, here it is.
