Description:
This is a super nice prospect for trial or work on cattle or sheep. Toby is 6 months old and is already hooked on sheep and goats and going to balance.



Registration pending at ABCA.



Sire is Shep (Sam Wipf’s Kate- Rindal Cap lines x SCR Ike -Broken Circle lines).

Dam is Slash J Storm (imp. Jim- Joni Tietjen, Sergio Perello’s Jim x JM Skye- Jeremy McBride).



Lots of successful trial dogs in both sheep and cattle work. Fun blend of cow dog and imported lines. Shep and his sire Ike were neck to neck this past winter at the Denver Stock Show 2024 with Ike placing 1st and Shep placing 2nd on the cattle. Both Shep and Storm have been competitive at NCA and MSSA National Finals and work the ranch at home.



Toby is an above average prospect. Only selling due to unfortunate life circumstances that are forcing me to downsize.



Toby is super keen and will be ready to seriously start soon. He takes training pressure well. Is biddable but not sensitive. Shows calm courage and desire to gather, cover, and read his stock.



Off of stock, he’s been well socialized. Great with people and other dogs. Getting a sit, lie down, stay, recall, knows his name, crate and kennel trained. Has a great temperament and a funny personality.



Toby is a smooth coat with unique brindle factor on his jaws and legs. Suspect he will mature to 55-60 lbs, he is already a good-sized dog.
