Description:
I’m a dependable, hard-working, honest, cleancut guy willing to relocate for the right place as a ranch hand. Still a little green but I’ve got references available for about the last 2 years. I’d like to work for a respectable cow/calf and/or seedstock operation (no equine facilities please) with a hard working and motivated employer who’s got traditional values regarding work ethic, honesty and mutual respect, and is willing to spend at least some time working with me to acquire additional new skills. Central/western US preferred.



Experience: irrigation (pivots, wheel lines, hand lines, flood, ditches, dams), some haying (mainly harrowing/raking/tedding/stacking), feeding, moving and working cattle (brand, vax, pour, band, preg checks, etc...) calving, sick checks, doctoring, loading/shipping, fence repair, hotwire up/down, spraying, basic equipment servicing, facility/grounds upkeep, etc… Still a novice on horseback but not totally green. Have used ATVs, bikes, etc for cattle work and also used horses for basic ranch work, moving herds, and 2-week fall roundup. Some experience with cold climate/higher altitude herds.



Bio: single and available to work after June 15. Not on the run, not shady. No kids, no pets, no debt, no smoking/booze/drugs/BS. Easy going attitude, smart, and have good judgment. Raised with work ethic, strong values, respect for others, and good manners. I keep my lodging tidy. I will not manhandle your horses or equipment. I’m punctual, work well on my own with the right direction, also enjoy working with others when the situation allows. Willing to work the hay season and maybe be considered for longer term if it might be a good fit. Housing for one needed.
