Description:
15.2hh. Sonny has been used for general ranch work in the Cypress Hills, he has seen the bush, rocks, creeks, wildlife and has had dogs follow up behind him. Sonny has been used to chase cattle up alleys while using a flag and has been exposed to a tarp as well. This horse is bred to be a barrel horse, with the cow breeding on the top and run on the bottom. He is coming from the breeding program of Mona Beierbach’s and the Beierbach’s know what it takes to have a good champion barrel horse. The cow breeding will make him want to hunt down the barrel while the run in him will add the speed between the barrels. Sonny is nice and narrow and has a nice soft, easy lope to him, making him a nice ride. He catches, loads and saddles up good. He has been lightly started with roping the heel-o-matic and on cattle. Take him home and finish him off, the way you would want to finish him, for as he has a very nice start to make a great ranch horse or barrel horse. Sells as is.
