We call him Red; his name may sound plain but he is far from that. Red is a nice well-rounded, all-around gelding that we are proud to offer. He is very honest down the trails, he is seasoned and solid on the ranch, in the feedlot and is a nice heel horse. This is a horse that is absolutely fun to ride! Red is one hand broke, moves off your leg, side passes both directions, opens and closes gates. He is good with ropes; we have drug hundreds of calves with him in the branding pen. He is the same horse every day, every time, and everywhere. Red is an 7 year old gelding coming into the prime of his life, he is bred to be quick and cowy, yet if you want to go for a relaxing evening trail ride he is easy and fun to ride. Red is solid on the heel side, with a big stop and stands like a soldier in the box. Best of all Red has the talent, ability and pedigree to make a performance horse but he has the personality and disposition for the whole family to enjoy. The best thing about him is he is only 7 years old; he is quiet, talented and overall a very outstanding gelding. Red lopes around the arena on a draped rein staying the same speed, he goes over the obstacle course with ease and is good with ropes, flags, slickers, tarps, and equipment. He crosses deep water, bridges, downfall, goes through the thick brush, ditches and is very sure footed. If you want to run out and rope one in the pasture Red is your guy! If you want to grab a drink, go on a weekend trail ride and have a good time with your friends Red is your guy! If you want to a good minded, well broke, trained gelding Red is your guy! We cant say enough good things about this horse, he has done everything we have asked, when we ask and how we ask. Red stands the perfect size at 15H. He stands for you to get on from the ground or a mounting block. Red is the first one to meet you at the gate and fallows you around the pasture like a puppy dog. He gentleman to be around, bathe, groom, saddle, load, unload, he stands tied, and stands for the farrier. Red is not plain in anyway he handles like a Ferrari, glides around with class and always makes you smile. He is user friendly and a blast to ride. FMI call Casey (406)897-4717
