2016 Model Rabicano APHA Mare

“Shine on Hippie” aka “Freckles” is a fantastic one hand broke ranch mare. She was started right and has excelled at any task you give her from roping outside, to the branding trap, to sorting in the pens, or just gathering cows she has done every form of ranch work you can think of and does it well. She is a very smart and athletic mare that has the foundational skills, speed and smarts to make a performance horse or just keep being a great working ranch horse. Freckles is good for the farrier, stands tied, loads etc, she has a lot of life but is always controllable, I would recommend an intermediate rider just due to her energy level but handy kids have rode her and got along just fine. She has had 3 nice foals in the past and stayed riding fit all the way to the last month or so with all three. She is currently in foal to a perlino AQHA cowbred stud for March of 2025 (pic of stud and his papers at the end). Guaranteed buckskin, palomino or smoky black foal and will have all the paperwork to paper the foal.

Freckles stands 14.3 HH and is sound in every way. Her sire Shine On Line is an own son of Shining Spark by a Docs Oak mare, he has a LTE of over $100,000 and his current breeding fee is $3,500 plus chute fee.
