Description:
Honeybun is a beautiful, flashy buckskin pony mare. She is 5 years old and 13.3 hands tall which is the perfect size, not too small and not too big. My 9 and 16 year old sons can both ride her comfortably. She is by a son of Doc’s Prescription and out of a Haflinger pony mare. She is built right and to last and is very cowy. She will trail ride all day, wherever you point her, over logs, through trees, or through water. Honeybun also heads and heels the roping sled. It would not take much to get her started on live steers. She has been desensitized to goats, dogs, four wheelers, tractors, and cars. She has wonderful feet, is currently unshod, and stands well for the farrier. She stands nicely for bathing, grooming and saddling. She does not take off walking while you’re trying to mount her, which can be a safety issue for kids. She will walk, trot, lope circles and back up. She does have a motor when asked for it. She stalls wonderfully and keeps a neat stall which is a big plus. She trailers well and will stand tied all day like a lady.
