If you are looking for a safe, sound, and sane horse that won’t break the bank (or your bones), then take a look at Rascal. She is a 16 year old quarter horse mare, 15.1 hh, but don’t let her age fool you! Rascal is sound and has plenty of go, and loves to be ridden. She is very well bred and registered with the AQHA as “Here Comes Goodbye”, but we did not receive her papers when we bought her. It is possible that her new owner could do the paperwork to receive them, but we cannot guarantee that. She is by King Corona, a full brother to Corona Cartel, and out of an own daughter of Beduino. She is easy to catch, great for the shoer, and can be pastured with, ridden with, and hauled next to both mares and geldings without any issues. Rascal has been ridden both English and Western, and primarily used as a trail horse. She is sure footed and will go up, over or through anything you point her at. Rascal has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and doesn’t need to be ridden every day to stay gentle. She rides quietly on a loose rein, but is responsive and will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Rascal will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding. She has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
