Bentley does all this and more! Bentley is a 12 year old 16.1 hand, Friesian Draft cross gelding. He has that beautiful Friesian movement, the steady and calm personality of the Draft horse, and mixed with versatility and athleticism to make a great all-around horse. He has been ridden both English and western and is a superstar when it comes to driving. Bentley is very quiet and sweet natured. He can be handled by complete beginner horseman and is good for tacking, grooming, and harnessing. Well-mannered for the farrier and gets along great in the pasture with a mixed herd setting. Stalls well with no vices or bad habits. He has been ridden both in and outside of the arena. He has been shown on the schooling level in both jumping and the flat classes. Takes his leads and is responsive to his rider. He has covered tons of miles out on the trails under saddle and pulling a cart. Crosses water, handles rough terrain, and leads/ rides in the middle/ or brings up the rear in a group, and is confident to ride out alone. Stands quietly at the hitching rail and good for those weeklong or weekend camping trips. He rides and drives on the road and is not bothered by traffic. Very easy to drive and would be a great horse for someone who is just starting out. Bentley is such a great and fun horse to have in the barn. His quiet demeanor and versatility are sure to make him.
