If you are looking for a nice horse to ride on the ranch, take on trails, or pack friends around when they come for a visit, then take a look at Sasha. She is a pretty, well built 12 year old GRADE quarter horse mare, 15hh and coal black with just a little chrome. Sasha is sweet, kind, and gentle, and willing to do anything you ask of her. She is an amazing trail horse, very sure footed and brave, and will go up, over, or through anything you point her at. Sasha has been ridden around the ranch, on multi-day rodeo trail rides, and in large and small groups of horses. She rides quietly on a loose rein, content to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope if asked. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and loves my two boys. Sasha rides english, western and bareback, and steers easily. She came from an English barn, which is why her mane has been pulled, but it grows out to be long and thick like her tail. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. Sasha is easy to catch, stands quietly tied, and is perfect for the shoer. She is not mare-ish and can be ridden next to, pastured with, and hauled with geldings or other mares without an issue. Sasha rides well in both the arena and the pasture, will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding.
