Rueshaw II x Kaedemaru heifer pregnancy sells as lot 1 in the Stars of Akaushi in Cowtown sale held June 7 at 7 PM CST on liveauctions.tv!

STG Kaedemaru 001D (FB46972/EAF46972) is the dam of this heifer pregnancy. She is a clone of the original import Kaedemaru! She is the ONLY living daughter in existence of the Japanese super sire, Dai 10 Mitsumaru. Kaedemaru produced Umemaru, who has had semen sell for up to $7500/straw. Kaedemaru is POWERFULLY built and has an EXCELLENT disposition. There isn’t a wider based, better mannered, or more uniquely pedigreed cow in the breed. She is just as beautiful under the hide, scanning Prime+ on actual carcass ultrasound while eating nothing but hay.

The sire of this heifer pregnancy is Rueshaw II (FB14991/EAF97017), who was syndicated for $100,000. 800 carcasses sired by Rueshaw II were graded by a carcass camera, with 96% being mid and high prime (BMS 9 - 12) at under 25 months of age! Rueshaw II is a direct son of the original Rueshaw, the only national champion to ever leave Japan. Rueshaw was imported in 1976 and has had semen sell for as much as $22,000 for a single unit.

There are NO calves from Kaedemaru or her clone sired by EITHER Rueshaw or a son in EITHER the Wagyu or Akaushi registries. They simply don’t make them any more unique, rare, and valuable than this!
