Description:
This is an eight (8) plait braided rawhide reata. It is new and has never been roped with. The reata is 65 feet in length and has a consistent 3/8" in diameter. Most rawhide reatas are four plait or six plait. Very seldom will you find an eight plait reata. It is heavy enough and stiff enough to actually be used as a heeling rope when working on a ranch. The reata has a heavy duty tightly braided Hondo with a rawhide burner laced into the Hondo. There are no breaks or repairs on the reata.
