“REMY” is a stunning picture of a blue roan, nearly entirely black, prime aged gelding. Everything from his demeanor to his appearance makes him a pleasure to be around. Remy has phenomenal conformation with kind eyes and a beautiful head. He stands 14.2 hands tall with good bone. He is quiet natured and kind. He enjoys attention, but is not pushy or rude about your space. He has no bad behavioral habits or special needs in regards to his care. He is sound and healthy and a horse that you will love waking up and seeing in your pasture or barn every morning.



Remy is a versatile and prime aged gelding that is capable of fitting many hats. He has been started breakaway roping calves and has the ability to go on in that aspect or on the heel side and make a great rope horse to haul. He has been used outside on a large cow/calf operation here in East Texas and has seen all aspects of ranch work from simple things like prowling cattle and checking fences to more complicated tasks like sorting and doctoring cattle.



Not only is Remy athletic and able enough to fit a performance or ranching home, he is quiet enough to fit a pleasure riding or trail riding home as well. If you are not looking for a horse that is extremely athletically capable, but maybe instead one who has a quiet, no worries nature that you can jump on and go any time with no worries then Remy would be a great fit in that aspect also. Though he is athletically capable, Remy will only give you as much as you ask for. You can ask him to go to work for you and give you his life, or ask him to walk quietly across the pasture and he will gladly do either. Remy is not spooky by nature and does great riding out alone or in a group. His time on the ranch has enforced a lot of positive things that make him a wonderful trail partner.



In the arena Remy rides quiet and soft. He lopes around smooth, catches both leads and is very pleasurable. He stays gentle with time off and is the same horse every time you saddle him. He is no doubt a wonderful gelding that will serve you well for many years in any capacity.
