15.5” Crates - Mike Beers edition roper

This saddle features a 15.5" padded suede seat, 3 ” silver laced rawhide bound cantle, Full stainless steel Dee rigging on the front and back rigging, 6 1/2" gullet, QH bars built on the rawhide wrapped wood tree, post horn with new leather dally wrap, Dee rings on the back conchos for leather ties if needed, Leather wrapped stirrups, new back cinch, new front cinch, fleece is good, and weight is around 37 pounds.

These Mike Beers edition saddles are some of the toughest ropers out there. The trees in these have a really nice narrow twist which is fantastic for all day rides. Also, they fit horses right and ride like a dream. They will do the job for anything you can catch! This saddle is nicely broken in and ready to get to work on the ranch, arena or on the trail. You won’t look back after buying one of these Crates saddles.

NOTE - This saddle used to the have rawhide on the pommel below the horn. The previous owner didn’t like it and removed it, so there is a small row of pinpoint holes in the leather. I thought about putting more leather on, but honestly there is simply no need. The saddle is 100% functional and beautiful and the holes affect nothing and aren’t in the tree; just from sewing on rawhide when originally made.
