15.5" Custom Ben Swanke - Modified Association Ranch saddle

This saddle features a 15.5" finished hard seat, 4 1/2" cantle, post horn with leather rope strap, 13" swells, 7/8 Drop rigging, 6 new long leather ties, breast collar dee rings with a matching Ben Swanke breast collar, 6 1/2" gullet, QH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, round skirt, back cinch, new front cinch, new off billet, new latigo, fleece is brand new real wool (we just put it on and only put on wool), and weight rigged is around 43lbs.

I’m finding Ben’s saddles used going between $4-5K, and new over 6K. Ben is a master at saddle making. From the hand made saddle trees that are custom notched for strength and durability. Up to the fine tooling in the leather. You won’t find many of his saddle up for resell. A true saddle artist that grew up ranching and knows what a working cowboy needs to get the job done.

The darker areas on the fenders are just oils drying still. These pictures don’t give this saddle justice. The breast collar tugs have a bit of cracking on them but are original so i left them on. They can still be used, but I got a new pair I’ll throw in the box if i’m shipping. That way you can put them on when you’re ready, or just have an extra pair.
