Bear has been a ranch extraordinaire in the feedyard and ranch operations and used extensively in all day to day tasks and in the rope arena at night and on the weekends. Born and raised at the Lazy U and ridden by experienced cowboys to novice riders all the same, Bear has been a reliable ranch hand his entire life. He’s been hauled and used at brandings and roped and drug the big calves with ease. He’s as solid as they come and the guy you want to throw a leg over when it’s slick, in the cold, rain or snow for anyone lucky enough to get in him in their string. He’s roped countless yearling on the pivots and in the Nebraska Sandhillls and stands solid on the rope when you go to doctor. He’s been hauled to countless ropings and won the #12.5 World Series roping in Broken Bow and split $4,000, #11.5 World Series in Cheyenne and split $29,000, made the short round first high call in both ropings. He made the short round 4th high call at the #10.5 NTR team roping in Cheyenne against 600 teams and had success in countless jackpots and round robins. He stands at 15.2, is stout made and slicks out as a beautiful blood bay in the summer. Sired by one our top sires, Docs WhiskeyBlizzard, his progeny is one our customers always come back asking for more. Bear always strives to please and comes with as big as heart as you can find.
