Description:
We are in search of a Meadow Foreman for a large, progressive cattle ranch located in northern Nevada.



This position entails overseeing the flood irrigation of over 4000 acres of grazed meadows, while also actively participating in scheduling and supervising cattle rotations.



Our operation prides itself on adaptability. Preferred candidates will possess knowledge of cattle, grass management, and grazing practices. They should also demonstrate the ability to grasp the ranch’s overarching goals, understanding how irrigation and meadow management contribute to the larger picture.



Effective communication is required for success in this role, as is the capacity to work independently while overseeing 1-2 others. Adaptability to changing conditions is essential.



While the primary focus lies in managing watering and grazing rotations, the Meadow Foreman will also engage in various ranch duties such as fencing, welding, infrastructure maintenance, equipment operation, and cattle movement.

Salary will be dependent on experience, with opportunity for growth.



Please note that the ranch is situated in a remote location with minimal community access, including neighboring ranches. The nearest school is located 1.5 hours away.
