Standing a true 15.1 hands tall Hondo has been used for every aspect of ranch work, from gathering and sorting, to shipping and branding. We’ve also used him to pony some colts and a 7 yr old little has played with him on the barrels and poles at home. He is just broke and willing enough to be good at anything you ask of him.



We have had every age and level of rider ride and use Hondo, he is always safe and never spooky. He doesn’t require constant riding. Hondo is easy to catch and a joy to have around. His ground manners are impeccable. He stands like a rock to bathe shoe and saddle. Hondo also loads and hauls very well and gets along great with other horses.



This is the easy no worries horse that you can ride out alone on or go on a fun group ride with your pals and never have a single worry. He has a smooth slow lope in both leads. An easy to sit trot and he guides around light and effortless. Hindi stops when you say whoa, and side passes either direction. You can ride even ride him bareback and bridles if you choose!



Hondo has always been sound and has no blemishes on him.
