Rippen Rey Dr affectionately known as Lil Rey is one of my personal favorites! He has the biggest personality, he is a friend, an athlete, and everything you want in one and more. Standing 14.2h, he is tailor made and is pure perfection. Lil Rey lopes pretty circles on a draped rein, he has a nice turn around and really wants to stop. This is a dependable, very honest, one hand broke gelding that we really like. When it comes to tarps, flags or ropes he doesn’t even look at them twice and they don’t bother him one bit. He loves to bounce the big ball back and forth with a friend or play soccer in the arena. From the kids to grandma, Lil Rey is safe and honest every day. We have taken him out gathering cattle through the thickest brush you can imagine, and he goes right through it. Water, creeks, mud bogs he crosses them all and is sure footed in the rockiest terrain. He doesn’t hesitate to go up or down steep hills. We have roped cattle on him in the pasture and in the arena he’s been used at ranch rodeos. In the arena he has the mindset to please and learn new things. Lil Rey is happy to take a leisurely ride on a peaceful trail or head out for something more adventurous through the backwoods or rough country. He has a fun personality and a can-do attitude. Lil Rey loves to go to work with you and he will never quit you! He’s been around dogs, kids playing, traffic, heavy equipment and all the hustle and bustle of your ranch and takes it all in stride. Lil Rey has proven himself again and again in every situation we have put him in, even babysitting our 3 year old. He is a complete gentleman to be around on the ground, he stands tied, loads right up in the trailer, backs out, stands to be groomed, bathed and for the farrier. We have nothing but good things to say about this honest, gorgeous red roan gelding. He is right in the prime of his life at 9 years old.
