Description:
SMART BLUE SILVER, affectionately known as Concho in the barn is a 9 year old, 15 hand, Blue Roan AQHA gelding. Concho is a worker that does his job well. He has been a ranch horse and done all aspects of ranch work from doctoring cattle to sorting pairs to loading trucks. He has also had arena work done as well. He has 3 smooth gaits and is steady and consistent in all 3. He has a nice jog and is learning to extend nicely. His transitions are smooth and prompt. He has nice spins in both directions. Concho does well with patterns as well. He is extremely fun on cows! He will follow and watch a cow well. He’s had enough slow work that he doesn’t get hot, but will chase one down too. He will pull from the horn when needed. We have ponied colts with him and he doesn’t get frazzled if things go array. While Concho is a worker undersaddle, he does take some time to warm up to new people. He has nice ground manners. Ties well. Stands for saddling. Good to bathe. Call Sammi Waugh 704-798-5497
