Description:
The Powderhorn Ranch/Diamond Land & Livestock is looking for a hard working individual for a horsemanship position. Responsibilities would include riding horses from two year olds on up to mature saddle horses; feeding and barn chores; monitoring herd health and condition; halter breaking yearlings and starting colts; fencing, haying, working cattle and other ranch jobs. This individual would be given a string of horses to ride and train for auction, under the supervision of our senior staff. This position would be at least one year long, with further possibilities beyond that. We provide housing, transportation around the ranch and honest work to do. We are a family-friendly environment with four generations living and working on the place. Come join our crew and become part of the family!
