Peppermint Jewel, AQHA 5328096, known as Kate, is a 2010 red dun mare that has been a ranch horse extraordinaire her entire life. Raised by a cutting horse trainer, and ridden by youth and adult alike, Kate has pasture roped and doctored extensively, has all the groundwork for heeling in an arena, and has competed in local gymkhanas and box-drive competitions. This super cowy mare has been there, done that: branding, sorting, moving cattle, you name it. She adapts to whatever rider is on her. One of the first horses to walk up to you in a pen, she is extremely gentle and friendly on the ground, has no vices, and is an easy keeper. Miss Kate sells at the CSU Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale in Fort Collins, CO on April 20th.
