Description:
Steve is a solid gelding who has been used extensively at a large feedlot in Central Montana for the past 5 years. He’s very good at pulling cattle and locks on well. He has been roped on in the feedlot and outside as the feedlot runs yearlings on pasture in the summer. He has roped both ends in a ranch setting and has drug calves at several brandings. Steve is not a bronc. He is an aggressive mover and doesn’t miss much, therefore, he is not suitable for a beginner. He can be hard to catch in a large lot or pasture, but once he knows he’s caught, he’s good. Steve is the boss horse in a pen. Due to his extensive use, Steve does have some white hair blemishes from too thick of a saddle pad. Call with any questions about this good gelding.
