Description:
Moose is a big, flashy, bay crossbred gelding. He is an 5 year old and 16 hands tall. Moses is put together right and had excellent care his entire life. He is sound and very healthy. Moose has been used on the ranch, dragging calves and roping yearlings. He has an excellent handle and is a gentle, kind horse with a ton of personality. Moose was started right and learns quickly. He is always willing to do what is asked of him. Moose is great to sort cattle on, he is really cowy. He has been hauled all over New Mexico and Arizona to many rodeos. He is a great pickup horse and will shag bulls all day. He has carried the flag in grand entires and been the judges horse in timed events. Moose has been in big parades down the Main Street of downtown Truth or Consequences with fireworks, unicycles, fire trucks and loud music. He has picked up at the Gallup International-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Rodeo. My entire family loves to ride him and our guests do as well. We have ridden him all over the Cibola National Forest and he even likes to swim in the lake with you. He is a great trail horse. He doesn’t mind crossing water or downfall and is safe and steady on the trail. He has been high lined at camp and used in our outfitting business. He has a smooth, comfortable lope and trot. He knows his leads and lopes a nice circle. Moose has an excellent stop and one handed neck rein. You can ride him bareback and jump on his back off the side of the trailer or a fence. He stands for mounting and is used to a mounting block. Moose is the same gentle horse every day. He is great to haul and good with other horses and dogs. Vet checks are welcome at the buyers expense. Moose is a one of a kind horse. You don’t find ones like him often. Moose is $25k
