Bred by a reputation ranch in Montana that produces some great ones. This is a superior ranch gelding that is also an outstanding rope horse. He’s been hauled and won on at numerous ropings. Solid head horse that will fit about any roper, no issues, easy to get along with. Handles cattle with ease and has the feel of a smaller horse with the strength of a big’n. Been used for everything on the ranch and shines at all tasks, the kind you’d ride the river on! He has roped a lot outside and will hold a rope to doctor one and lead out or drag a big one in the trailer. Blue Duck will pack a big guy all day and handle any job asked of him. And for an older or short rider will park it next to anything to mount or dismount and not move till asked. Blue Duck has tended lots of cattle in big rough country and is as good as any we’ve owned outside ranch’n and handling cattle.
