Description:
Freckles is a 14 year old grade gelding that we have done 4-H, Junior Rodeo, hunted, & cowboyed on.

My 11 year old daughter has rode him the last 4 years and been very successful on him and they have learned alot together. He has done goat tying, barrels, poles, breakaway and heels. She has shown him at county fair in trail, reining, cowhorse, & english. He has also ski jored. She has carried flags and been in parades. He is good with all the commotion. She is very comfortable on him outside gathering cattle and riding in the mountains. She has upgraded to a faster one now and that is why we’re letting him go.

I love to ride him outside hunting and cowboying as well. He has packed lots of elk and gear in out of the hills. He is great to brand on or sort cattle on. He is short, about 14 hands, and stout 1200 lbs. He is built solid and 100% sound and surefooted. Great to shoe and be around on the ground. Easy to catch and will come from a mile away if you have a grain bucket. He doesn’t pick on other horses, but always gets enough feed. He is an easy keeper.

He has a big motor and likes to travel. For this reason he is not a beginner horse. He is one that you have to ride and has all the buttons and is sensitive. He would be great for an 8+ kid with some experience looking for more go or an experienced rider. He will sale in the ring and online at Billings Horse Sale April 27th, 2024.
