Description:
Ranch hand position in Southeastern Montana. We are a family run cow/calf operation running around 1000 head of mother cows/200 head of replacement yearlings. We are looking for an all around ranch hand, duties will include, fencing, calving, feeding, cow work, haying and other tasks required for day to day work on the ranch. We use both atvs and horses to move cattle. Housing is provided. Housing is a new smaller 3 bed/2 bath build. Pasture for personal working horses is provided. Pets are negotiable. The ranch is remote and a four wheel drive vehicle will be required to get in and out. We are an hour from the closest town (Broadus) and about two hours from the closest Walmart (Sheridan, Miles City) Couples/families are encouraged to apply. While this position is for one person there is opportunity for plenty of day labor. This a ranch hand position not a cowboy job.
