Hooey is a favorite around the barn! He’s extremely personable, he’s not pushy but he truly loves people and all the attention he can find. I have no problem having my little girl be around Hooey on the ground because he’s cautious and quiet! He’s the first one to meet you at the gate, quiet to tie, shoe, saddle, etc. He has an excellent foundation and he’s ready to go on and make your next barrel horse, rope horse, or he can just make someone an excellent pleasure horse. No matter which way you choose to go with him, you’ll never discount him for his character and try! Hooey has a nice walk trot lope in the arena, really wants to stop correct. Hooey is still rode around mainly with a direct rein as of now but you can still get all of your chores done. He will side pass to open and shut gates, ride him up to the road and check your mail, is traffic safe and doesn’t mind riding alongside the highway or up and down the town roads. Hooey has seen all sorts of trail riding country, from Kentucky to Montana and all over Arizona. He will cross water, tarps, timber, et. He’s sure footed and quiet and always aims to please.
