To top that off he is as gorgeous of a 10 year old true blue roan gelding you may find. Indy stands 14.3h and is stout made! Indy is as true down the trails as they come. He will cross anything in his path, handles rocky terrain with ease and isn’t spooky of wildlife, bikes, traffic etc. He has the most easy-going personality. There isn’t any situation we have put him in that he hasn’t taken in stride. Indy will lope around the arena and pick up both leads but has spent most of his life outside and that’s what makes him such a solid trail mount. We have ridden him right by the 75 mph highway without him batting an eye. We have used him gathering cattle as well. Many different levels of riders have ridden him. Indy doesn’t get mad with a beginner that is learning how to guide him. He is always a gentleman whether in the saddle or on the ground. You don’t have to worry about him just saddle up and go even with time off. Indy has spent most of his life being ridden down the trail. He will direct rein, move off your leg, side pass and voice command to his gaits. Indy is the guy you can grab any given day no matter the last time you ride him and go enjoy a ride. You can take him to get the mail, take the trash bag to the dumpster or go on a stroll around the farm to check the cattle. Indy isn’t fancy trained like a reining horse, he doesn’t have a big motor and a huge stop like a heel horse. Indy’s best qualities are that he is gentle, safe, and easy going. He will be kindhearted and your equine friend for the rest of his life. He doesn’t care if our little guy feeds him grass, chases the dogs around or goes zoom zoom around him on his electric gator making all sorts of commotion.
