Cecil Phillips Roping saddle. Cecil built the shop that is now known as the Shiloh Saddlery Shop. Maker Marked.



Price drop from 1500 to 990 this weekend!

15 inch seat. Stunning leather quality. Rawhide-wrapped wood tree. Tree is incredibly solid; you can rope something heavy out of this one and it will hold-up. Gullet is a 6.5, so semi-QH bars, but I have had it on mutton-withered horses and it fits the wide ones well.



This saddle has exquisite tooling in the oak leaf style. Rawhide cantle wrap in beautiful shape. Solid, stainless steel hardware. Fully double-rigged.



It’s been in storage for the last few years and sadly, and a portion of the fleece was eaten up by moths that somehow found their way inside. Might need a new fleece eventually, but I have ridden in it and the fleece that remains holds tight to any decent saddle pad. See photos. This would make an excellent feedlot and working saddle. Heavy at over 45 lbs.



The thick flank strap and wool cinch will be included.



Asking 1500, OBO. Saddle is with me in CA, but I travel to Utah frequently and will bring it with me for you anywhere along that route.
